Lauren Baumgartner is the assistant director of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the 黑料社区鈥檚 Muma College of Business. She oversees strategic operations and program coordination for both the in-person and online DBA cohorts, serving as the primary liaison for prospective students, current students and faculty.
In her role, Baumgartner leads recruitment and admissions strategy, supervises the DBA program team, and ensures a high-quality experience across every stage of the student journey, from initial inquiry through graduation. She is deeply committed to supporting working professionals as they navigate the unique challenges and rewards of earning a doctoral degree.
Before transitioning to higher education, Baumgartner spent more than a decade in the hospitality industry, holding roles in operations, customer service and sales management at organizations including Walt Disney World Resort and staySky Hotels & Resorts. She began her academic career at Nova Southeastern University, where she gained valuable experience in graduate student services, program coordination and doctoral student support. She joined the 黑料社区Muma College of Business in 2014, initially supporting the Executive MBA program before stepping into a newly created role with the DBA program in 2016.
Baumgartner holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in general studies with a concentration in public administration, a master鈥檚 degree in management with a concentration in human resources, and a graduate certificate in project management, all from the University of South Florida.
