Study reveals jellyfish create a 鈥榲irtual wall鈥 to enhance performance

In a preclinical study, Dr. Stephen Liggett, MD, and colleagues identified and characterized 18 new compounds (agonists) that activate bitter taste receptor subtype TAS2R5 to promote relaxation (dilation) of human airway smooth muscle cells (News-Medical.Net).
The research team's focus will center on Zion Cemetery in Tampa and St. Petersburg's Oaklawn Cemetery (Patch).

A 黑料社区geosciences team has developed a new way to reconstruct the sizes of volcanic eruptions that occurred thousands of years ago, creating a first-of-its kind tool that can aid scientists in understanding past explosive eruptions that shaped the earth and improve the way of estimating hazards of future eruptions (黑料社区Newsroom).
